Hey everybody! It’s Rob from The Grim Tidings Podcast. Since this is Leona’s Blog of Shadows, I really can’t think of anything Shadowy-er than the Underdark, and it’s equally shadowy counterparts – THE DROW! We were very lucky to be able to interview fantasy author R.A. Salvatore. Bob was a super excellent guest, and we were glad to be a part of his book tour supporting the release of his new novel ARCHMAGE, where Drizzt returns to the Underdark. We covered a myriad of topics during our chat, including writing, publishing, creating new shared universe content, Bob’s favorite fan moments, a legacy of stories, epic hits and misses, and more. It was a blast to speak with someone who’s had such an impact on fantasy fiction and gaming. Bob is not only a great writer, but an all around excellent human being.
