I just stumbled upon this awesome article and wanted to share it with you guys. The strategy is great and bound to be successful if you take the time to do the things listed there. Half an hour everyday should do the trick. Goodreads is a great platform for promoting books and I think this article provides an excellent game plan for getting your books noticed.
Thank you for sharing, Leona!:)

Not going to lie, Goodreads scares me a bit. As an author, I really avoid interacting or doing anything on there!

Mark Lawrence and Michael J. Sullivan (both international bestsellers) are very active on Goodreads, they post a lot of reviews and interact with the readers, answer questions. Mike is quite active in a lot of fantasy groups. I’m also somewhat active under my other pen name. It’s great got promoting books and connecting with the readers, I also made a lot of great friends there. nothing scary so far.

Don’t be scared, chica.:) Goodreads is a great place for readers and writers alike. What scares you about it, by the way?

Thank you for this, Leona! As someone who already regularly posts reviews, it looks like I’ve been missing a major trick with Goodreads.

I’m very active on Goodreads, there are some great groups and discussions going on. Too bad I don’t have too much time these days with my writing schedule and the moving stress. But Goodreads is an awesome platform!
