Redditors voted and chose the all time favorite fantasy books for 2014 in this thread. Which ones of these books you have read?
books

I have read the following from the above list:

1. A Song of Ice and Fire by George R.R. Martin
2. The Lord of the Rings by J.R.R. Tolkien
3. Kingkiller Chronicle by Patrick Rothfuss
4. Harry Potter by J.K. Rowling
5. The Broken Empire by Mark Lawrence
6. The Hobbit by JRR Tolkien
7. The Prince of Nothing by R. Scott Bakker
8. The Chronicles of Amber by Roger Zelazny
9. The Riftwar Saga by Raymond Feist
10. Dragonlance Chronicles by Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman
11. The Silmarillion by JRR Tolkien
12. Elric Saga by Michael Moorcock
13. The Empire Trilogy by Raymond Feist and Janny Wurts

I’m planning to read most of the books from the reddit 2014 list, but I’;m afraid I won’t be able to get to half of them this year with my brutal writing schedule. My immediate TBR includes The Black Company, Malazan, Wheel of Time, Riyria series by Mike Sullivan, Low Town Trilogy by Dan Polansky, The Powder Mage, The Gentleman Bastard Series and as many Neil Gaiman books as possible. Let’s see how many I will be able to tackle in 2015!

There’s a reddit thread fr the 2015 votes for all time favorites, you can cast your vote here: http://www.reddit.com/r/Fantasy/comments/2zk51x/the_all_time_top_rfantasy_novels_2015_edition/

  2. From the first 15 (since after that they get down to a handful of votes each), I’ve read:

A Song of Ice and Fire
    The Lord of the Rings
    The Kingkiller Chronicle
The Malazan Book of the Fallen
    The Stormlight Archive
    The Gentleman Bastards
    Discworld
    The Dresden Files
    Harry Potter
    Mistborn

Some I haven’t finished or didn’t care for enough to continue, but I’ve read at least one book from 10/15 series. I’m looking forward to the 2015 version!
